DAY 27 & 28 13, 14 -September Two large trucks with food supplies arrived in Purnia. Donated by Full Gospel AoG Church inBangalore,Livingstone and Peter traveled with these consignments all the way to Bihar from the South. We wish to record appreciation and gratitude to Pr. Paul Thangiah, Founder and Senior Pastor of the Church for extending this great help to Bihar. A dental camp is arranged by Dr. S. Singh at Agape Village for all villagers. Similarly a general eye check up is done by Dr. Rajan Anand and his team. 2 pregnant ladies at Agape Village are nearing term. The government has announced a grant of Rs 10,000 to all boys born to flood affected mothers and Rs 11,000 to all girls similarly born. * Pray that additional manpower will arrive to assist in the multiple needs that be-front the mission now. Most staff and associates are stretched as we reach the end of nearly a month since the flood started. Additional doctors, nurses, administrators and assistants are needed. * Pray as the Government comes to visit the Agape Village and to assess all the facilities which the ministry is providing to the victims. |
